Limits
- Quota: per day, 100 uploads plus 10,000 units for everything else (a thumbnail or an edit costs 50, a caption 400). mixetape reports a used-up quota as a failed post with the reason; retry after it resets at midnight Pacific time.
- Custom thumbnails need a verified channel.
- The API cannot pin comments or set a Short’s related video.
- Analytics lag two to three days.
