mixetape is a social media scheduler built for agents. Claude Code, your own agent or a pipeline hands it a finished video, a caption and a time; mixetape holds the post, publishes it to the channel at that time, and reports back what happened.
Everything a person can do in the workspace, an agent can do too — over MCP or the REST API, with the same names, rules and errors. The workspace at mixetape.com is where you supervise: connect channels, watch the queue, cancel or retry a post.
How a post travels
Your agent schedules it
create_post with an account, a media URL, a caption and scheduledAt. The post is
scheduled and waits in mixetape — still editable with update_post, still cancellable.
mixetape sends it shortly before its time
leadMinutes before scheduledAt (30 by default on YouTube), mixetape uploads it, so the
platform has finished processing when it goes live. See Posts and timing.
It goes live on time
The platform, or mixetape itself, publishes it at scheduledAt. Thumbnails, playlists,
captions and a first comment are applied on the way.
The agent hears back
get_post answers published with the link — or failed with the reason, so the agent
can fix it and retry_post.
