# Facebook

**Connect:** sign in with the Facebook account that manages the Pages. When it manages several,
you pick which to add. Posting goes to Pages only — never to a personal profile.

**Posting:** uploaded unpublished `leadMinutes` early (30 by default; `0` or at least `15`),
with a publish time; Facebook publishes it at `scheduledAt`.

## Metadata

| Field | Notes |
|---|---|
| `format` | `"video"` for a Page video, `"reel"` for a Reel (vertical 9:16, 3–90 seconds) |
| `title` | Page videos only — Reels have no title; put the text in `description` |
| `description` | The post text; defaults to the caption |
| `thumbnailUrl` | Public https JPEG/PNG, set right after upload |
| `captions` | Subtitle files (public https `.srt`) uploaded right after the video |
| `firstComment` | Posted as the Page's own comment once the post is public |

## After it is up

Change its title and description, set a thumbnail, upload captions, read, reply to and hide
comments, and read video insights.
